This is our classic fall-inspired sweet Pumpkin Bread with Pecans added to it. This is our riff on a beloved recipe given to us many years ago from a dear friend in New Mexico, and whenever we start to smell this bread baking in our home, we know that autumn is about to arrive!
We make our pumpkin bread loaves with organic stone milled ancient, heirloom, and artisan grains and lots of warming spices that are certified Fair Trade whenever possible. The pecans we add are US #1 Fancy rated halves. These loaves average 8-9 ounces in weight after baking, and you can get 5-6 generous slices from each loaf (see photo).
