Our sourdough loaf featuring Fair Trade certified Palestinian za’atar + garlic. Our bread is made from ancient & artisan organic grains, fair trade certified spices, and our wildcrafted starter, which was born in San Francisco and raised in Denton. Our Palestinian Za'atar blends wildcrafted oregano and thyme with sumac, salt, and sesame to create a delightfully savory flavor that pairs well with a touch of garlic. Za'atar is a traditional Middle Eastern herbal blend that has long standing roots in historic Arabic medicine for its digestive properties, and was also praised by the Jewish sage Maimonides for its many health benefits, including mental alertness. Our loaves weigh between 2-3 lbs after baking.
